The only book you need to pass the CT registry with flying colors!!

This book is a God send! Thank you Mr. Demaio for creating it! Our facility is set to be ACR accredited by January 2013 and my manager pretty much made it clear that I gotta have my CT license or medicare won't pay for our patients. I was freaking out... I got the MIC book, but it was like 1000 pages long and that freaked me out even more.. I then stumbled upon this book and read the reviews on it. This was going to be a hit or miss mission I needed to accomplish. Mind you I also am working full time here. I studied the whole weekend for 12 hours straight and from 4-9pm every day for 5 days.. I just took to registry test to AND PASSED WITH 93%!!!!!!!! WOOHOOO!!! I first took the 600 questions online that come with the book to see where my level was at (68 %). I then went to the end of the book and studied all the definitions.. (Like literally memorized them). I then read and studied the whole book (from cover to cover). I then took the practice tests at the end twice. I identified my weaknesses and the night before I went over my practice tests again and the questions online that I flagged. There were a lot of identical questions on this book that were on the registry test. The anatomy illustrated in the book is all you need!
To my fellow procrastinators... You can do this! The book's questions and explanations are easy to understand, and they are harder than the actual registry questions! Good luck everyone.. if I could do it.. so can you! :)

Great study tool for registry.

So, do not be fooled by this book! The questions contained in it are not going to be verbatim what is on the exam. However, ALL the information for you to pass the registry are contained within. I used this book along with another online tutor site that costed nearly $200/yr and looking back after the exam, the book was most helpful over the site. Get the book, and READ IT! Dont focus on the questions so much--they're just a guideline as to what you should expect format wise on the exam. The questions will be like they are in the book. T/F, pick 2 or pick 3 or anatomy ID. All the info is here. Great book. Get it, study it, keep it, reference it. Good luck!

I bought this book, read it front-to-back, and took the 3 practice exams. Several questions on the ARRT CT Registry and cross-sectional images were identical to those in the practice exams. I studied using this book for approximately 40 hours and scored a 93 on the Registry. Highly, highly recommended. Spend the $50 and don't risk having to take the $400 exam more than once!
